Sure, we love talking shop about the nuances of coffee and our commitment to sourcing the best organic, fair trade, sustainable and traceable beans. But our unwavering dedication to craft ultimately drives our true obsession: flavor! It’s what motivates and informs our desire to roast every bean to absolute perfection. Small Batch Roasted to Perfection
Our co-founder and head roaster Martin Higgins has been roasting coffee for over 25 years. Which means he’s seen a lot of roasting trends come and go. While some are great, others not so much— anyone remember “white coffee”?! So we prioritize flavor over fads. Martin’s approach combines elements of both Second Wave and Third Wave roasting techniques to coax the best notes out of our beans. Unconventional? We like to think so. Roasting excellent coffee is super-complex, and every bean roasts differently, which is why we roast to the bean. Whether a light, medium or dark roast, experience matters and makes our coffee extra delicious!
